The Battlegrounds is a map that is based on the first part of Mission 06, before Wayne discovers the wreck of his father's old PTX-40A at the end of Mission 00.
Unlike the single player version of this map, the multiplayer version offers a street filled with debris as well as the possibility to enter buildings, offering plenty of hiding spots. It is also possible to walk on the bridges.
The highest point of the map is the bell of the clocktower.
This map features VS such as GTT-01 and GAN-34 depending on the layout. VS aren't likely to be used because of the nature of this map where players will most likely shoot the VS from hiding spots. The GTT-01 VS starts without weapons on this map.
